Our history

The name Perillo is well known in the field of steel products since 1920 when Giuseppe Perillo senior began work as a representative of British mills and exporters selling Electrolytic Tin Plate used by the Italian food processing industries.

During the Fascist period, and especially during the Second World War, there occurred the inevitable freezing of trade relations with the Anglo-American countries. However, immediately after the war Giuseppe Perillo senior, with his determination and hard work, managed to resume contacts and imports from Great Britain and the United States of America thanks to his prestige and his professionalism too.

He was the only one who could boast such qualities for competence and seniority.

In 1950 Giuseppe Perillo's son, Bruno, continued and expanded his father's work creating further business in the importing of foreign steel products and in the exportation of preserved foods.

In 1976 Bruno Perillo established the company AGIMEX continuing to operate in the usual commercial and industrial sector.

In 1987 Bruno was joined by his eldest son, Maurizio, who quickly became a skilled and shrewd intermediary, distinguishing in the thriving market of those years.

Currently the company AGIMEX is directed by the third generation of Perillo, Giuseppe Perillo junior (Bruno's son) who, in memory of his late brother Maurizio, is showing excellent commercial and business skills.

Giuseppe is maintaining the high prestige of the name Perillo which has been in the market for nearly a century!
